After 18 months of working overtime with some machinists putting in seven day weeks we are pleased to say we’ve virtually caught up the all the backlog and overdue orders. New orders for any item are now given a 2-3 month waiting time while most orders should be rerady in two months. Our most popular jackets, the ones in daily production, such as the unmodified Highwayman, Café Racers and 1930s Half Belt varieties are likely to be even quicker.

We’ve boosted the team working exclusively on Military jackets to four full time machinists with three of our best Civilian jacket makers helping out when lead times start to get too long. Sheepskin orders coming in this month are promised to be delivered before a snowflake falls on Ben Nevis, and standard WW2 era A-2s should be ready in plenty time for the Air Show season.

We are also planning a new “From Stock For Same Day Despatch” for unmodified jackets in some of our most popular styles.  We are starting with the Highwayman in Chromexcel Front Quarter Horsehide, our perennial best seller, we have a small number of sizes 36” to 48” ready to go.
