US 48 STAR SILK FLAG

Yet another perfect recreation from Aero, the most commonly used 48 Star pure spun silk Flag, perfectly re-created on the same quality and weight 100% spun silk as used in the 1940's, not the soft flimsy silk in general use these days. As can be seen from the picture left, we've got every last detail identical to the originals. These flags were generally sewn on the back of a flight jacket, inside or outside wherever the flier decided to wear it! . As these were less commonly used as a pocket we will only fit cotton backing by request. Unless requested these will be supplied un-backed but folded ready for sewing onto an A-2 or US Navy jacket.
