**PRODUCT NEWS*
From June 1st 2013 The Waterfront will be available from stock for immediate delivery.
Although we've never been able to supply these from stock before, we've just taken on two new highly qualified cloth machinists who will we working exclusively on Aero Cloth jackets, right now they are busy filling all outstanding orders for The Waterfront and in the next week or two we will be buliding up a stock of these for immediate delivery.
This superb recreation of a typical 1950s work jacket is identical to the jacket worn by Brando in "On The Waterfront".
The British woven all wool cloth is exclusive to Aero, we've had it woven in "hard" wool so it has got that firm to the touch hand that is so typical of pre-WW2 utility wool which is usually only found in vintage clothing. We currently only stock this cloth in Green and Black although the Mill is trying to source a Red wool yarn, but that's a project for next Winter. Right now we can offer our Green & Black jacket fitted with 100% wool knit in black, cotton drill lining and a period style zipper standard. Alternatively, for Winter wear, we could make one to order with a full black Alpaca Wool lining, an upgrade available for an extra £20. (To order Alpaca lining, please enter this option in the "Special Instruction" box
For many years we've offered an Aero version of an original 1930s reversible Wool and Horsehide copied exactly from an original in our archives. It took us nearly 10 years to source the right wool to replicate our version, the 1930s original is still in our archives and can be compared to the Aero versionl .
