It would be unfair to describe our Blue Label Jackets as a Budget range as they are made from regular stock materials, mostly Horween Chromexcel Front Quarter Horsehide, and all are made by fully qualified Aero machinists but the "Blue Label" does offer a considerable financial saving on our standard jackets.
Our latest limited edition range will be "off-the-peg" only, the leather body shell may show the odd scar, there will probably we some minor mis-matching of shade or grain, maybe the occasion surface blemish but they will be no different from a Horsehide Jacket made back in the days when they were considered workwear and when every piece of leather went into the construction of a jacket.
This didn't make those period jackets inferior to today's blemish free versions, we are as guilty as anyone for cutting our horsehide jackets from only the best matched and cleanest areas of the horse hides, today's customer ordering a custom made jacket demands this perfection but, as we all know, this comes at a price.
Over the last few years we've built up a considerable stock of half hides, smaller pieces, odd panels, etc of perfectly good Horsehide left over from the highly selective cutting mandatory for our regular Aero jackets, this is the leather we will be using for a latest range of "Blue Label" jackets
A full description of each jacket will include measurements plus details and photographs of any imperfections, these will be reflected in the price.
