Pike Brothers Pre WW2 Physical Training Grey Marl Sweatshirt

Back in 1988 Aero were the first European company to offer a proper pre WW2 American Physical Training heavy duty sweatshirt, the type that has been copied by just about every Athletic shirt maker since. The one's we had then were made in Japan by Slapshot and since these were discontinued we've looked at just about every one that's been on the market. Up to now none were considered good enough for Aero, until now that is, when we found this amazing Pike Brothers version from Germany.

Make no mistake, these are the real deal, cut from exceptionally heavy 100% Grey Marl cotton. Heavier than the old Slapshot sweats, and heavier than almost every original 1920s sweatshirt we've ever seen, infact they are a perfect replication of the old US P.T. Sweaters which were used by athletes from every sport. The pattern and details are indistinguishable from those early 20th Century classics complete with the obligatory wide cuffs and waistband, the double V-neckline and set off with a typical period style woven label.

Satisfaction unconditionally guaranteed, but sadly, Pike Brothers are no longer making plain sweats, once these have gone we'll not be able to get any more.
