Over the last month or two we've had several orders for our Kid's A-2s, he most recent of which looked so amazing we felt there are probably lots of youngsters out there who would love a jacket "just like Dad's" but had no idea it was possible.
Although we've been making Kid's versions of some of our regular Aero jackets since the earliest days of Aero we've never advertised the fact but, right now, we have quite a lot of odd ends of leather that aren't enough to make an adult's jacket from but would make fabulous kid's A-2s.
Colour choice will be Russet or Seal, we'll chose the right weight Aero grade leather to suit the size, it might be horse, steer or goat. Knit and lining is the same as in our Original Contract A-2s, zipper is Talon or Conmar, all labels and hardwear are the same as the regulat Aero, in fact it's a WW2 Type A-2 in miniature.
Insignia is not included in the price, we don't have many patches in small sizes but we can usually find something suitable for the junior crew member.
All materials used on our Kid's range are regular Aero grade but to keep the prices as low as possible these jackets are made mainly of from odd skins and large off cuts. This means there might be occasional slight mismatching of shade or grain, or scarring on the skins. In this case scarring and mismatched grain only adds to the authentic feel of a period jacket.
