The Half Belt Deluxe (Fur Collar) leather jacket from Aero Leathers is essentially a winter version of one of our most popular designs, the Half Belt Deluxe. This winter edition features a fur collar and alpaca lining included in the price, to help keep you warm in the colder months.

Typical of the styling of the 1950s, this multi pocket design is based on the basic 1950s Half Belted jacket first introduced in the 1930s, a more stylised and functional version of the original.

This men's leather jacket with fur collar benefits from having a five-pocket set up: one sloping breast pocket with ring and ball zipper, two large cargo pockets with stud closing, with two hand warmer pockets (inserted) into the cargo pocket feature. We use a classic cord effect detail around the cargo pocket set, typical of 1930's to 50's American styling.

The sleeves have a stud closing/fastening in a blackened brass finish, again a feature of USA 30's to 50's design. The back of this alpaca lined leather jacket has a bi-swing back with a false belt feature (same as the Half Belt) and side adjusting belt and brass buckle, to ensure correct fit.

This leather jacket with fur collar is a 1950s inspired design which offers a fit with quite a bit of room around the body which was typical of the more relaxed fitting styles of this era.

The perceived ‘correct’ fit of the 1950s was generally more ‘oversized’ than modern sizing, so we typically recommend either selecting your usual size for this style to achieve the intended ‘1950s’ relaxed fit, although many choose to size down for a more modern fitted look.

Additionally, the jacket’s side adjusters can be cinched in at the natural waist to provide a more fitted look around the waist while retaining room around the chest and shoulders, or alternatively, they can be loosened out to provide more room for layering.
